Newsletter: May 2008
Welcome to the first Allegra Consulting Newsletter. As you may know, Allegra Consulting is a sophisticated, intimate and professional team of experts who partner with clients to provide meaningful change management outcomes. This includes providing the right staff for the right job or assignment as well as end-to-end consulting services including resource recruitment, human resource management and coaching.
It has been an exciting few weeks for our business with the launch of our new website, marking a new era in Allegra’s continued growth and development. To our delight, we have received some incredible feedback – both encouraging and constructive, which we have detailed further on in this newsletter. Thank you to everyone who took the time to put fingers to keyboard and send us your comments.
In particular, we would like to congratulate Ingrid Heaton – one of our Change Management community for her insightful input. Ingrid – you’re off to a dinner for two at the restaurant of your choice to the value of $150. Well done and a huge thank you for your feedback.
Thanks to Ingrid’s feedback we have implemented a Learning and Development section within the members area listing a selection of courses and qualifications that are aimed at the Change Management fraternity.
And to address her final suggestion, we will also take steps to make the home page link to “Latest Jobs” (integrated with SEEK.com) more prominent.

One of the most exciting features of the new Allegra Consulting website is the members area. Logging in to this section provides access to a number of useful functions aimed at developing and strengthening our already 700 member-wide global community of change practitioners. These include:
1. A fully collaborative Global Change Management online discussion forum for sharing knowledge and ideas, regularly updated by our team
2. Change Management FAQs - where we answer your questions
3. An up-to-date news and events calendar with local and international Change Management events
4. Global Learning and Development opportunities handpicked by our specialists to inspire you to remain on the “cutting edge” of change management ideas, practices and methodologies
If you do not already have access to the members area, please contact us for a login and password.
In response to overwhelming feedback from our community around the need for change management learning and development opportunities, Allegra Consulting is looking to host a one-day Masterclass and learning session later this year.
As this session is for you, we would like to hear your suggestions on topics that you believe should be covered. The class is likely to be broken up in to four 1.5 hour sessions covering different focus areas.
Please submit your ideas to us and we will use any common themes that arise as a basis for the sessions and identify the most qualified and inspiring presenters to deliver and facilitate the learning session.
